Parameter definitions

Elasticity (relative)

Resistance to deformation under a load; higher values act like a stiffer tissue block.

Damping (relative)

Viscous-like resistance that slows oscillation and return toward rest.

Force (N)

External force applied to the tissue model.

Strain

Strain describes relative deformation, not just the absolute distance moved by one point.

Experiments

  1. Hold force constant and lower elasticity.
    The body should deform more when elasticity is lower.
